CTSU eCourse—Humanitas produced this introduction to the NCI Clinical Trials Support Unit (CTSU) to provide registered CTSU members and those interested in becoming registered members with a convenient method of learning about participation in clinical trials through the CTSU.
Health Staff Web-based OrientationThis Flash-based tutorial provides new Job Corps health staff with a step-by-step review of basic job functions and responsibilites for health staff on Job Corps centers. Orientations are available for nursing, medical, mental health, and dental health professionals.
State of the Science—A pilot project of the National Cancer Institute, this web site provides audiovisual presentations and transcripts from State-of-the-Science meetings, which are designed to encourage participants to:
  • Discuss obstacles to translating basic research into clinical practice
  • Identify critical questions that are of the highest priority for clinical investigation
  • Review the implications for design of phase III trials

GRAD: Great Resources for Diploma Attainmentis an easy-to-use, web-based tool with content developed by Job Corps staff for Job Corps staff to assist in enhancing center high school diploma programs.
VA Clinical Guidelines—Humanitas designed and developed several web-based clinical guidelines for the VA's External Peer Review.
Web-based Treatment Information Exchange (WebTIE)—WebTIE, a web site gateway to applications, offers single source internet access to products, services, and oncology professionals who can help organizations better manage cancer clinical trials. WebTIE disseminates innovative, automated distance learning, proposal evaluation, and handheld grading devices at no charge to users.

Web TAGs—These online technical assistance guides (TAGs) provide guidance to Job Corps health staff on a range of health topics--from immunization requirements to student substance abuse prevention programming.
